HĀWEA FLAT POOL
Conditions of Use
The pool is available for public use - 9am - 8.30pm when the school is closed for instruction.
Children must never be in the pool compound without an adult and may only swim with suitable supervision.
Children under 8 must be actively supervised at all times by someone who’s at least 16 & who can give immediate help
Nobody is to swim alone
No running, jumping or diving into the pool
Check the depth of the water before entering
Nobody is to swim under the influence of alcohol or drugs
No alcohol or drugs to be consumed in the pool compound
Smoking/Vaping is not allowed in the pool compound or anywhere on the school grounds.
Please be considerate of other users at the pool. Unruly behaviour will not be tolerated.
Boogie boards, surf boards and kayaks are not to be used in the pool
Please remove and replace the pool cover with care.
A first aid kit and defibrillator is located in the end of the building immediately east of the pool (on the Grandview building)
